Fellas was wondering if you guys could tell mehow many speakers the mustang has because it says 8 but i can only find 6 the two in the door each door so that is four and the two in the trunk mounted by the window so were would the other two be hiding thanks.

 

the 2 subs? 2 on the rear deck? 4 door speakers?

that adds up to 8 to me

 

i have the 500 i dont have the 1000 and the 1000 has ten while the 500 supposed to have 8 but i only count six so i still cant find the other two i mean i dont think there is anu in the back seat

 

is there any tweeters in the dash?? i know there are 2 actual speakers in the door, maybe they sit side by side with a tweeter too? i have no idea

 

The upper door speakers are plates [midrange& tweeter] That counts as two speakers.Two woofs in the door and two on the rear deck.Not sure what type the rear are.

thanks iowa beef that looks preety good since i got the dvd instead of the shaker 1000 and that thing is only 500 dollars have you used the same 1 or do u know if it sounds good atleast and do u know where i might beable to go and get it put in im bad with putting stuff like this in my car!!!!!!! thanks

 

I don't have one, but I got that link on here from someone else. You could try doing a search. This would probably be the route I would go if I was going to add something. Some stereo shops will install stuff that you didn't buy from them and some won't. Your best bet would be to get a buddy that knows a little more to help you through it. Also, I don't think that diagram shows the wiring for the power for the amp, so you would have to buy an amp kit and run that too.
