On may baby, the cd player skips, I have the shaker 500. Has anyone ran into this problem, and if you did how did you fix this.

 

Hey John.....a TON of us are having this issue, including myself....options are to take it back to Ford or buy yourself a new head unit........Sounds like the replacement Shakers from Ford have worked fine for many, so that's probably a good start...Looks like you may be new to the site so if you use the search feature you may find some good answers to questions you may have....that's pretty much where i started when I first got on here trying to get answers from owners who had their cars longer then I had....good luck with the stereo bro!!!

Mine skipped when I first got it but it seems to have gone away. Perhaps there's something on the laser that needs to burn off or something wierd.
