the song is The Grits - Ooh Ahh, album- The Art of Translation

shows? are you asking about SEMA? I know they are really cracking down on who can get in, supposedly the age cut off is 16. Those that can get in: work or own a company in the automotive industry (exhibitor/attendee as buyer or something of that sort), work for a manufacture/car designer, media, display vehicle, basically need to somehow be part of the industry.

I read the min age was 16 too, but I saw a couple kids running around that were 12 or 13 at best.

yeah 2 days is definitely not enough, especially if you are going to stop at booths to check things out, talk to people, make connections, go to press conference/unvieling, demos, test drives and all the other stuff they have going. Its still impossible in the 4 days its open, heck I had a hard time doing it in the 6 days I was there. You really have to game plan and hit just the things you really want to see.

I didnt see anyone that young but it is suppose to be the new cut off.

no its not, close to public the entire time and it gets harder to get in every year. you can walk the outside area though without issues most likely but thats not really worth the trip itself.

There are lots of cars outside, like rrobello's was this year. The Overhaulin' tent is out there too, and I've never seen anyone checking badges to get into there. The other tents and the main halls (all 3 of them) are guarded by watchful guards though. I forgot it wasn't open to attendees until 9am, and on Friday at 8:45 or so, I got stopped trying to walk into the north hall with my buyers badge. Oh well, I went and stood in line at Starbucks instead.

check out the SEMA website, they should have information about what you need to get tickets for next year, like what kind of proof you will need if you wanted to go, and what kind of business it has to be. I know they have a list of businesses (marketing, etc) that aren't qualified, but if you have a small parts business you should be able to qualify. Got anything you want to sell?
