The 05 will come with several security features sandard/as options.

I'll probably get the best from the factory.

I might have to park on the driveway because the parents aren't gonna relinquish a spot for my "toy"....

I will probably get a boomerang system on top of the factory if some scumball tries to take my pride and joy.

What I would do to someone trying to steal my car...

Personally I don't care for Lojack. If my car gets stolen, it is insured and I will be more than happier to accept a check from my insurance company for more than it is worth. If the car was a classic or if I had $20k in modifications done to it, I would be singing a different tune though and would want to get the car back by any means. Usually the car is stripped and dumped faster than the police can get there.

For the 05, I'll be getting one of those $500 viper systems with the LCD keychain. Mostly because it's another toy I can play with and it looks cool.

Does the 04 come with keyless entry standard?

I have it but having never used it (thank God) I can't recommend or complain about it.

It's common enough here in SD that the pros park the hot cars for 24 hrs to see if someone comes looking for it using LoJack, then they come take it for the chop shop.

By the way, USDClark, LoJack now works into Mexico. How hard anyone would look for your car there I can't say (at least not while being politically correct), but the chip can be tracked down there.

For both the V6 and V8/GT models?...

(Stupid Question Ahead!)

Thats where you push a button to lock/unlock the car doors right?...

If so, Im planning on throwing an alarm on it the first day (my neighborhood... hah). Will that interfere with the keyless stuff?... Or just work like my alarm currently works locking/unlocking the doors by button?...

Good question AgentJ! I got one of those two-way alrams for my Jeep because somone was messing with it. What's sad is, who ever was doing it never did it AFTER I put it in. Would have loved to beat that guy. I recomend it to any one looking for a good alarm system. It's worth a look.

I guess you don't push any button at all. You have a remote control key and lock/unlock the car with it. I heard about remote start too?
Oh and btw, iirc there'll be an optional security package that features an alarm with ultrasonic interior motion detectors or something :P

According to the info released to the press the cars will have Remote Keyless Entry and there will be an optional security system available that includes ultrasonic motion sensing for the interior of the vehicle, a tilt sensing system to warn against vehicle towing, and a security horn.

I would venture to say you'd have to do remote start yourself, since it is illegal to have remote start on a standard transmission. You could get it on an auto though.
