I checked all Mustangs at my local dealership today, and here's what I found out: B) The seat back lever is in the same location as this photo on all the interiors I viewed. Leather seats...Cloth seats...air bags...non-airbags...the lever is still in the same spot on the upper back location. I've seen questions asked about this subject, and this should clarify....

I don't know because I do not have mine yet but, I would guess that it is that high because it would be hard to reach if they put it in the normal bottom spot due to tight clearance.

I feel it's one of the best things they changed. SN95 and earlier were all down at the bottom and people could never find them.

I for 1 don't like it. It going to make it a pain in my hiney when I have to let someone in the back seat & I already have my seat covers on. That means I will defiently have to cut & sew holes in the top to allow for the stinking lever.

cheersmates.

So does this seat back lever also move the seat forward besides tilting the back forward? If not, then you still have the lower seat lever that does the same thing.

Either lever will release the seatback and you must reset the seatback each time you release it. It is best to use two hands doing this so not to strip the teeth of the recliner.

kerafaith So you do not have to cut a hole to release the seat back, most likey it would look better thought.

There's your answer kerafaith..... just use the seatback lever that is the lower one, down by the power seat controls.

kerafaith...why bother with leather seats if you're going to put covers on? No offense, just strikes me as odd
