Ive got a 06 mustang V6 with the sct strategy flash programmer i will be getting the refresh mustang GT when it ever comes out(09/10) can u download the new car to the sct device or will i have to buy a new one ????????

 

i would not know about the SF tuner but i know with the 9400 (custom tuned one) all you need is new files and i think the new stangs will have all new computer codes and different systems so you might need a new programmer when those come out

 

Yes you can. You have to restore the '06 PCM to stock and then basically reset the device (if you search SCT's forums they've got instructions on the whole process I think). You'll need new files, but you can still use the same SF device.
