SCT 2 question

I have an SCT programmer for my mustangs, I know its specific to programming or my car, but I was wondering if it would read and clear trouble codes from by dodge? I was thinking about buying a general odb2 scanner, but figure that my SCT might be able to at least read the codes since its odb2 also. Wondering if anyone has tried it or knows before I give it a try and something goes horribly wrong, lol

I can read codes from my cousins Chevy Avalanche, but it wouldn't clear it. Also, it wouldn't read on my old 99 Pontiac GTP.

It says Ford specific, but it's really hit and miss.

You can actually buy Bluetooth OBDII plug in and download an app for your phone that will clear, read, and do many many other things. More than a $150 scanner will do.

App -- Torque $4.95 (free version will work too, just not as many bells and whistles)
Device -- any Bluetooth OBDII device will work, they can be purchased online for like $30

No. Apple will not support a Bluetooth obd2 port. As far as I've read its Apple not supporting the Bluetooth stack needed for it to work.. Android does. I have the Bluetooth one for mine.
