But the body style is soooo different, I'd really like to see how a bright color like yellow will look on the new body. I'm afraid it may bring out the lines too much for my tastes.

The only thing I don't care for with the light colors is the contrast of the headlights. Because the headlights are darkened in, black would look nicer and that respect IMO.
I am not buying anything until I see 3 colors in person-- yellow, torch red and black (just to make sure ).

That's what I have been waiting for. I have looked high and low and unless your looking at a chop I have yet to see a yellow 05.
I would love to see it cause that is what I am getting. I have looked else where. but have yet to see that. I think that and mineral grey are the only ones I havn't seen yet.

Didn't see a yellow stang on pg 30 but here is one I just did real fast. Might not be the exact same yellow but it's pretty close.
EDIT: I see.. it's on page 60

My favorite color has always been black. After 5 black cars I was borderline on needing therapy. I got all reved up about red, then wained back to silver.......then the photos of the black car came out

Take it from a Family that owned all Black Cars and Trucks for Several Years, Black is Beautiful.......When IT's Clean! But you can wash and wax a Black Car and not even 10 minutes later you will see dust all over it. Black cars require constant upkeep and cleaning. I had a Black 87 Thunderbird Turbo Coupe, with Red Interior and Yeah the Pic's of that Black and Red 05 Made me A Bit Excited, But Then I remember how Hard it was to keep it looking good.
Not to Mention How Hot a Black Car gets inside. The Heat dries out the leather really bad, no mater how much you condition it. My Mom has an even worse combination, She has a 92 Lincoln Mark VII LSC/SE, ALL BLACK, Inside and Out, and the heat has done things to her interior like warp things and caused the Dash to Crack, and she has owned it since New, and Takes Meticulous Care of it. I had a white Mark VII LSC and it had light blue Interior, it was No Where near as Hot Inside and My Dash never cracked.
Black Is Beautiful, But I will NEVER OWN ANOTHER BLACK CAR. MY Moonlight Blue 97 T-Bird is Hard Enough to Keep Clean.

I'm with you TampaBear67. I have owned 26 cars, but never a black one, too much of a pain in the rear end to keep clean. I've had lots of dark blue and dark green cars, but I would never get those colors again either. They are a pain to keep clean, almost as bad as black and like black they show any scratches (even tiny micro-scratches) and swirl marks in the clear-coat.
If you never plan on driving your car, or you wake up every morning just dying to go clean your car, then black is for you. If not, get a light or medium color car.

Looks good dave. It's easy to change the car if you don't mind changing the background a little too. I just alter the saturation and hue to get the color I want.
