hey jess nevermind people on this forum they are all stuck on bullet wheels racing strips and not changing what the all mighty ford comp. intended the cars to look like so you go ahead and paint your car what ever you want and dont worry about what people say, personaly i think it will be awsome, check out my old truck it was purple kinda and as different as you could get from factory

Mike, these guys dont get to me. I am all for personal opinions, but also dont like blanket statements. If you say you dont like pink Mustangs, alright, I can get behind that.

Anyone know if there is a certain color I should get if I want to have my car repainted? Seeing as I can't get my sonic blue and have to order an 06 instead, I was thinking about getting it painted in Dark Highland Green, which happens to be the color I wanted all along.

I personally don't like it either, but...it's not something new, Ford offered it in the past for the 'Stang (I am talking the classic (=1964 1/2 - 1973), namely model year 1967 and 1969, both colors named "Playboy Pink" and available only on special order...), here a link for all the original colors for the 1964 1/2-1973 Mustang:

I personally believe Ford should offer more "crazy" colors like it used to do in that

Man if you want a purple mustang just buy a Sonic Blue!
Ok... so I even had purple written on my key tags from the dealership and someone asked if that was my purple Mustang but the are obviously color blind. Even IF it may appear purplish...which I in no way admit, it is still far more blue than purple...or maybe just a very masculine kinda purple.
