OSUStangfan, I am sure you are reading it right.
I became a memeber today on AQHA (its 30$ for a year and you can do it over the phone) and I know that I am not going to get my car in the next 30 days, so I will get this 500$ discount.
Brad, thanks so much for the info.
I have a deal for 400 over invoice and now thanks to this site I have a 400$ college grad diso**** and also a 500$ AQHA discount.
So it works out to 500 under invoice
Once again, thanks a lot Brad.
I hate to be the bearer of bad news, but if you re-read the post you will see that the college grad and aqha CAN't be combined. It is also not compatible with A/X/Z/D plans.

Paul

I was thinking that same thing until I read that post with guidelines. I have the $400 college grad rebate thingy in the mail too. It's not worth the time or $35 dollars to gain $65.

Thanks for clearing that up for me Paul. I guess this is one of the disadvantages of being on TMS from work, can't really concentrate
Darn the internet policies at work

I saw a post on this forum about the EAA deal about 3 weeks ago, and joined immediately. I was planning to wait until the 06 models come out any way. Nice knowing you can get a good deal without having to play "the negotiation game" at the dealerships.

I joined. Do you have to get a certificate to get the $500. reduction? If so can I request that now as long as I don't use it for thirty days? Or do I request it in 30 days?

You don't need any kind of certificate, once you join they send you a membership card and you take that to the Ford dealer.
If you have been a member for more that 30 days, the ford dealer will take the card and do the rest.

Great. I hope the membership card comes in less than 30 days! This way I can use it on day 32.

Exactly. You have to wait 30 days to take delivery.

I don't suppose this would be available if you are already getting AAA price?

No reason it shouldn't be available. The AAA program has nothing to do with Ford. It's just your local dealer paying AAA to be listed as their dealer and agreeing to a preset price structure. The AQHA rebate is a rebate through Ford and wouldn't conflict with AAA.

You should of joined the EAA last year to get X-plan

You should of posted this the first day this board opened. While waiting over a year for my 2005 'vert, I could of joined EAA and been assured of getting the X-Plan price at the earliest possible moment. I'm an ex-pilot looking to introduce my son into flying and happy to join EAA anyway. :bang:
Wow, that's neat... my College Writing class professor mentioned the phrases "should of," "could of," and "would of" as common grammatical errors. I was thinking that I'd never seen that before, but there it is twice!

But, now I'm thinking that I should have not posted this. [/b][/quote]
Dr. Iven, I think it's Wacky, Wrong and Wretarded to keep pointing out grammatical errors of others, especially considering your Avatar's namesake.

My dealer is letting me take a $500 military reduction, by using my brother's affiliation with the army as long as my brother comes with me to complete purchase. I also joined AQHA to get the $500. Will these be allowed togther ?

I need a little clarification here . . . . .

Most of these posts state you must be a member of AQHA for 30 days but I visited their web site and it says 60 days . . . . . see below.

Ford Makes AQHA's $500 Member Rebate Easy as 1-2-3.

Locate your AQHA membership information to access your e-certificate online.
Click here and have your e-certificate in seconds.
Take your printed e-certificate to your local Ford dealer to redeem on any new Ford.
If you have any questions, contact AQHA's customer service department at 806-376-4811 ext. 4312. The $500 incentive is in addition to all other publicly available Ford Motor Company retail offers in effect at the time of purchase or lease of any new vehicle. This incentive may not be used in combination with other private offers. Note: A,X,Z,D plans are excluded. See your local Ford dealer for complete details and eligibility rules. Other restrictions may apply. Must be AQHA member at least 60 days to qualify. Two e-certificates per member identification number per year.

What gives?

They are both considered private offers and 2 private offers are not allowed in most cases.

Thanks Ed. Another question: Is the purchase date the date I order or the date I pick up and pay ? reason is the AQHA certificate is for purchases from 3/1/05 to 2/28/06 and I ordered on 2/20 but obviously will pick up after 3/1. BTW the certificate says that it "May not be combined with other private incentives such as military" so if the date works for me I can avoid having to have my brother come with me.
