I'm just shy of 6', and the back seat was surprisingly comfortable. Not as hard to get in and out as I thought it would be. The deeply pocketed rear seats help keep your knees out of the seat back in front of you, and makes it seem more spacious than it actually is. Cushioning is good.
Less guilt about having back seat passengers!

Most importantly - the big chair.
Ford got it SO RIGHT. Driving position is PERFECT. Don't let lens field from photos confuse you; gauges are easy to see and are ENORMOUS. Good grip angle for your wrists on the wheel with elbows at your sides, pedals are RIGHT, you are inline with the wheel and pedals, and the shifter is EXACTLY where it should be.
PLENTY of seat adjustment for all lengths and heights.
This new Mustang design is so profoundly better even sitting still!
And even if you COULD (which you cannot) you wouldn't want to try and mess with MyColor while driving. A bit of button dancing is involved. Easy to operate though once you can concentrate on it.

I had never noticed the location of the trunk light...I figured it would be under the rear deck (like on our Maxima) but it appears it is behind the lock mechanism so it is way up out of the trunk when the trunk is up will light things up well. Cool!!!
Thanks for the shots Paris! B)

Everyone, you are most welcome. We know a lot about this car, but there's so many, well, ordinary things that we haven't looked at. We'll be dealing with those things everyday, and that's why I went in a different direction looking the car over. Glad you liked it.
There didn't seem to be ANYTHING cheap about the interior to me. Fit and finish looked to be exceptional.
Someone mentioned they wished the seat bottoms had more side bolstering, and I can see why they mentioned that. But the upper side bolsters are fine, andFord would have had to make the car wider, I think, for more lower seat bolstering!
The headrests raise and lower, but do not tilt. SOme have complained a tiny bit about them; I found them to be TERRIFIC. I wish all headrests were like these.
The leather is truly fine.
Rotary ***** have a solid feel. Detents in controls are easy to find.
You are going to lke this car!

What surprised most about the rear seats is they were actually comfortable. I wasn't thinking about how I wanted to get out of there as soon as the photo was taken!

Donna, the satin silver is VERY attractive, and the example I showed you here had a terrific paint job - glassy smooth. Much better than average for a homegrown factory paint job. It looked deep and thick and rich and glassy and. . . well, you get the idea.
Oh by the way, the window drop and reseal when you open/close the doors? It is so fast and so small I did not even notice it until they pointed it out. I had forgotten about it, and shortly after you get the car, I bet you won't notice it at all.
