S197 FPDM Question
Does anyone know what the difference is between these two FPDMs?
6R3Z-9D372-BA and 7R3Z-9D372-BA
The 6R3Z-9D372-BA is the stock module for both the V6 and GT.
The 7R3Z-9D372-BA is the stock module for the GT500 which uses two of them.
The FRPP GT500 dual fuel pump upgrade for the 2005-2009 Mustangs, which I am installing on my Mustang for added fuel needs with my new blower, comes with one 7R3Z-9D372-BA to use in conjunction with the stock 6R3Z-9D372-BA.
I was thinking about changing my stock FPDM in case it had something to do with the fuel starvation issues I have when hard cornering with 1/2 tank of gas since others don't seem to have the issue with 1/2 tank of gas. I am wondering if I should get another stock module or maybe a second GT500 module instead.

I found the answer. The first number in the part number, in this case a 6 and 7, reflects a different mounting bracket but the FPDMs themselves are actually identical.
