Oh great, another Fast & Furious movie. I won't be wasting my $10.50 to see it in theatres, but I'll watch when it's on "free" t.v., however there's a good chance I might be getting my colon cleansed the day it debuts on premium t.v.

I have never seen any F&F movie. As a car enthusiast, I would be embarrassed. Though I would be more inclined to see one if a bad *** S197 was in it (or any other car that I like).

The car in the original post of this thread is bad ***. I personally don't have the self esteem to step outta a car like that, but I still think it's bad *** looking.

I can't knock the 3rd movie as much as I would have liked, as it wasn't as bad as I was expecting. Gotta love the race in the construction site though. I wonder if the Diesel will be in this one (heard he made a mistake bu asking for too much to be in the 2nd one, and regrets it). I will refrain judgement till we get more info on the cars they use. Hopefully it will be an american car version.

Yeah, I felt the same way about the third movie myself. I didn't expect it to be any good, so I was a little surprized when it wasn't too bad.

I hope Van Diesel is in this one, with lots of Mustangs, that would be cool!

Just because a car can be painted like that doesn't mean that it should!

Idk, the TFATF movies werent all that bad, the first was by far the best one. But that Mustang looks like crap, Im sorry, it is VERY rare that I criticize work on a car, but that is awful, the wide body "kit" looks rediculous. Way overdone.

I didn't even notice the body kits because of the paint at first. Untill somebody on this thread pointed it out.....

All three movies were pretty horrible in every possible way. With the exception of the charger.

In reference to the stang that started this thread. There is one quote I like from the fast and the furious.

"Where did you get that car? out of a cereal box?"

Since this seems to be a common comment I might as well clarify as to why the cars are done this way. All of you are looking at this like it was your personal daily driver, well thats not what these cars are for. From the owners standpoint who also makes body kits and hoods (some extreme some not), getting this car noticed helps business. Whether it be from car shows, the internet, magazines, or movies; so going extreme on everything from body and paint to audio, interior and power (which this car has everything) is whats going to get it noticed and thus more business. From the body shops standpoint, same thing, more people that notice the more business they will get. Of course not everyone is going to come to the shop and ask for a 15K+paint job, but some are (those that dump 10s of thousands into a show car) and the rest are just going to get simple basic stuff done. What is shown off by doing a car like this is the capability of being able to do whatever it is the customer wants, if they can do this with such high skill then just think how simple it would be to make your daily driver look good with a simple single color paint job.
