Question S-197 2005-2009 Under the hood Nice Tricks & Pics!

I need some help with under the hood. I have, Ford Racing Tower Strut Brace, C&L CAI, radiator extensions, chrome cap covers, and MRT hood struts, but at car shows the engine bay still looks pretty plain. I can't do a plemnum cover with the tower strut brace, and I want to keep the car naturally aspirated so a shiny supercharger is not the answer. I need something to set the car off from the herd, but I don't know what.

I'm sure there are some of you on this web site that have some pretty impressive looking engine bays. How about sharing what you have with the rest of us.

The braided lines look great but if you don't mine me asking, what did they cost?

I don't have any friends as talented as Levi. That is one sweet flame job, I've never seen that done on a manifold before.

Total for the braided lines and clamps for them was about 100.00

Shaker scoop - Adam's In & Out spray
All the black rubber and plastic - Zaino Z-16
All the chrome stuff - Novus Plastic Clean & Shine

The Adams and Zaino leaves a nice, deep black, sheen finish. Not oily and shiny like other dressings leave behind.

I would really like to keep my rubber hoses and intake looking like that but I don't have any Zaino products. Anything similar to Z-16??

Hahaha, I had this debate with myself right when I got my car about Zaino products and I know guys swear by it, but it seems a little to spendy for me. So the Z-16 you use on your rubber hoses is just a tire gloss? Is it kind of in a gel form?

I use the In and Out spray on all under hoood plastic and rubber.

Buy it here though since these are the folks that make it for Adam. And it is a few buck less per can

I agree, the Zaino stuff does seem expensive, but when I buy my Stang, I'll probably fork it on over...

Not only can it be used on your tires, but everything else that's rubber and plastic that requires (UV) protection.
Not a gel, looks more like a milky/water consistency.

j/k on the Zaino or bust deal, I'm sure there's other products on the market that'll do the same job... Adam's being one of them.

That In & Out spray is some good stuff. I also use it on the front honey comb grille!
