Now at least we know why they have to wait until 07 for the Shelby...they couldnt get the performance rubber band mass produced in time.

I will tell you guys that since I removed the rubber band the darn hood keeps popping up when I start the engine.Anyone else that finds that red rubberband I would leave it on or have your hood welded shut.

maybe the red rubberbands were put there by the robot who built the cars to remind it that it has a dentist appointment on friday?

i think there is going to be a "core" charge, and will have to be installed at ford and have your computer tuned to accept the new rubber-band

I thinking about putting my rubberband up for sale on eBay. Any suggestions on how much I should ask for??? Make some offers here if you are interested that way I want have to go through the trouble of listing it on eBay.

Hmmm.. I would keep a reserve on it at least so you don't run the risk of selling too low. You may want to consider keeping it in case you decide to return the car to stock someday!

I was thinkin' of doing a tungston grey rubber band with quick silver stripes, but I might have to wait for the '06 rubber bands to come out.
