Roush M90 or Tvs2300?

Im going to make the jump and buy a supercharger and get rid of my bolt ons. Decided not to care about worrying if the engine will blow or forged internals. I want the speed and I have faith Roush will tune the car with safety in mind for it to be a daily driver.

What I am asking is if anyone has experience with either set up and anything I should look out for before I decide to buy this next month.

I intend to keep the TB and cams and put the stock cats on to stay within legal emissions.

Thanks for your input in advance.

I have the m90 in my car and it's ok. I added the pulley and cai and tune and it got alot better.but the tvs is the way to go. I just got a real good deal on my m90. With the tune and cai here in phoenix AZ with 60-70 temps I got 419 hp and 400 tq to the rear wheels. Them m90 is fun, but because it's such a small pump it heat soaks very guickly in 90+ temps.

The tvs is a much larger pump and can be tuned and pullied to 700hp. The stock pulley and tune should be in the 440 to 460 hp range at the rear wheels, wich should still be safe for your car. If you want more power than that you wil have to do some engine building. The tvs can still be heat soaked but it will out perform the m90 every time. If you do the m90 and you add the cai you will need the frpp dual fuel pump kit or boost a bump, or you will lean out. If you do the tvs you will need the frpp dual fuel pump kit, so remember to factor in those additional costs.

I hope this helps you, good luck and have some fun.

It does thank you for all that info that's good to know. The 450-460 rear wheel range is plenty for me for I want to take the car on road trips and use it as my daily driver.

I have the M90. As a first time Mustang or any real sports car owner. I started with the best price. The M90 is a great starter supercharger, it makes the car come ALIVE. If you have the money, do the TVS 2300, that was told to me. Any supercharger will put a Big A_s Smile on you face. Enjoy!

Agreed. The M90 is a good unit for those who want to increase performance, at a good price and step into the world of forced induction.

One of the more popular supercharged we sell...

The m90 I was told can max out at 500 hp which to be honest is fine for me but I would like to be 550 at the crank. The Saleen shaker looks nice and unique .. the tvs 2300 reminds me of the gt500 which looks nice and can be brought up to 700 hp if I ever decide to forge the internals ... its a tough decision but everyones input is helping me .. thank you guys

Im in a budget but I want to end the power thirst lol

If you are working in a budget...save up for the TVS. If you have an immediate need for speed, the M90 is a very good, safe unit, that will not hurt your stock internals. With the pulley upgrade, BAP (boost-a-pump) and CAI (Anderson Motorsports or Roush) you should be able to tune your ride up to your goal of 550hp at the crank (470-500at rear wheel). The M90 comes with an intercooler and complete easy to follow instruction packet. The only headache is the need to send the PCM off to Roush for "safe tune". Even though they say 24hr turn around, mine took 5 days. That tune was safe and conservative, but there is a lot of power left on the table that comes out with the upgrades and re-tune.

I'm looking forward to my dyno next month. That will see what the next step is. Then I will ask if I put a differnet pulley & tune, what is the possible numbers. On my 2010 I will stop there not to install GT500 fuel pump or forged internals. 430rwhp would be fine with me.

That's what sucks I can't afford to not have the car for 5 days... how did you retune the car?..

I want to buy everything at once and end the power upgrading bug... it seams like I can max out the m90 and feel safe with the stock internals

I also read that I would have to send in the pcm for the Saleen skier as well ..

Spoke with chris from stage 3 and he mentioned to go with the tvs2300. Probably going to do this in april and sell all of my bolt ons even the cams which I never got a chance to install : (... but its worth the 475 hp at the crank ...

Cool took a look at the first page but seems like a lot of work and I dunno what the reliability is.
