Greetings YALL!

I have made it on my first leg. We are in Beacon Falls Ct.
FUN!
Car averaged about 360 miles per tank, and I used 3 tanks to get up here.

I drove until Natural Bridge Va, then Eleanor got her first male driver. He immediately opened her up and drove no problems. He doesn't fit behind the wheel very well.

Car drove excellently, and we got up here to the rain and snow............No problems. She seems to like it. Digital cam broke though. I will have to scan pics when I get home.

I like being up here, Down where I live and every other car is an 05 mustang, you get no attention. Here every stop we made, everyone was commenting and in love with it. When I pulled into Ct. A BEAUTIFUL blue 99-04 pulled up beside me and gave me a huge thumbs up. I was impressed.

On the way up- oddity, I saw a WB gt, and a torch v6 in ALabama, and one Torch v6 in Tennessee. Thats the last I have seen of them......

Mustangs in ct...........Eleanor wants to come out and play......... I will be here until Friday........See me around gimme a shout!

Mustangs just seem to be rarer the more north you go... its been how long since they've been out and I've only seen 5 on the road here in Ohio.

I didn't see any 05's when I was living in New York City, or on the few trips I made up into CT. I can see why you're a standout.

Enjoy the attention, enjoy the trip, and make the most of the weather.

Safe driving.

Dang hopeing that you would have some pic's to show as you go along your way .Glad to see that your a stand out with the new stang should create some good conversations along the way as you stop .
If you deceide to drive her up her it would be rare as hens teeth right now ,most of the stangs that are sold are just sitting in there stalls for about another month till the snow go's.There are only a couple that are out as regular drivers in the city here .

They are rare in my neck of the woods (err... desert) also. I've only seen a few around were I live, and those had out of state plates. Have a great time on your trip and drive safe April!

I will be through Orange County NY, Scranton, Wilkes- Barre,Harrisburg Pa, Winchester Va, ALLLL of VA on 81, Bristol,Knoxville, Chattanooga TN and then back home Friday and Saturday.I am off route 8 in Ct right now. Close enough to smell the coconut at Peter Paul. Its torture being that close and not being able to jump in a vat of coconuts.
This attention kicks, I may have to move up here. Well except for the fact that its the first day of spring, its 37 and snow raining. Its probably quite pleasant at home. I love driving around and being the only one out.

Its handling this mess quite well too. There isn't snow on the road, but there is plenty of snow around, and the car is great.

The gas mileage surprised me too. Its getting spectacular mileage.

Welcome to Connecticut April. I have yet to see any 05's on the road up here, I bet you do draw alot of attention. I wish my 05 was in so they could play together; I did get some good news on Thursday, finally pulled from a 12/27/04 order. Build week April 11, hopefully be here by end of April. Give me a shout if you need any suggestions on what to do/see in CT. It sounds like you are near the Waterbury, Naugatuck area, only about 20 minutes west of me. I do have a 1991 Mustang LX 5.0, I might be able to keep up ; but its looks pale in comparison to Eleanor.

How low are you letting the tank get to get 360 miles out of it? What are you estimates on your MPG?

Enjoy the trip!

Letting it get to around 1/8 a tank before fill up. With a 15 gallon tank...Whats the mileage. This is straight 80 cruise also.

Today the horse stayed home.

I am just by the peter paul plant..........mmmmm fresh almond joys.

I SO wanna go to the auto show wednesday.

1103 miles.

Here is what I fit in with room left over:
trunk:
Two rolling suitcases
One travel bag
one fender strat with case
One laptop case
One duffel bag
One rolling tall bag

Back:
One bag of books
portable DVD player
Two kids

front:
Two adults
One cd case carrying 160 Cds
One cell phone
Two Cokes
Two Dasanis

Brian doesn't fit in it very well. He looks like a chicken on a junebug. Driving that is. he has plenty of room in the passenger seat.

Its freaking cold here, and there is a ton of snow on the ground.

Here is the fun:
Left the house at 6:30 and got on the interstate at 7:30 after a stop.
We stopped in Tennessee for Waffle House and gas $1.99
Carried us into Virginia where we got gas and I slept until Harrisburg Penna
B. Got off the interstate and we had a lovely adventure, because he just hops off and hunts gas stations- he never gets off on the exits where there are a jillion of them.
We stopped for the night in Lebanon Pa.
Got on the road at 7:30 Am and drove into Port Jervis NY where we got Dunkin Donuts 80 JILLION cops on 84 in NY. Drove into Ct and made it here around Noon ET.

I have been having a ball being solo mustang.!
My sister in law lives up a huge mountain, we have had fun playing mountain driver down the hill with the curves.

It is niceto see what you can fit in the trunk. I'm taking the wife and kids to Florida in June and of cource we are taking the stang. It will be a ~3000 mile round trip and my wife was worried about packing space in the trunk. Hopefully the Shaker 1000 doesn't kill us. If so, looks like we are buying clothes there and UPS'in the dirty onese home. I refuse to take the 04 Exploder....
