Wow, that's some story. It's a good reminder for everyone to have a good time but also still have your witts about you.

Hope the dealership makes him pay for the repairs and that car. Either that or they'll have to sell it at discounted rate, I would think. Damaged goods.

I think that the forum title on FEP says it all. That story is worth absolutely nothing without photographic evidence.

lesson learned, people get excited when driving a new car.

Smart of him though, turn the T/C off when the ground is wet to hear the tires squeal.

or just don't be a complete and total idiot, he should not mess with vehicles with more then 109 hp, its out of his league. If I was the GM of the dealer, I would make him buy it.

This will not be the last we hear of stories like this. There is a whole new breed of mustang owners out there that fell in love with the 05. The mustang is a car that takes time getting use to.The rear end will get away from you with little effort and the car rear gets loose on the wet pavement. Respect the hp but most of all respect the torque. For all you new mustang drivers heed the warning. As time passes you will learn to power slide and all that fun stuff . Get to know the car and how it acts. ITS NOT LIKE ANYTHING YOU HAVE DRIVEN BEFORE. There are a lot of things you can and can not do with this monster. Punching the gas and trying to turn on wet pavement is NOT one of them.
