Riding 150 miles from Miami to the Keys to fight MS
Hey everyone! Sorry if this is in the wrong section--didn't know where to put it. I'm leaving my mustang behind on May 14-15 and trading it for a road bike, and without your help, I'm not going anywhere...
We're biking 150 miles from Miami to the Keys and back on May 14-15, 2011, and all to raise funds to fight and cure Multiple Sclerosis. The ride is sponsored by the National Multiple Sclerosis society, and it really is a great cause. If you can participate, either by joining us or donating a little, please do! Without your support, our team stays home!
When there are so many worthwhile causes, why should you donate? MS is so prevalent that most of you either have been personally affected or know someone that has. It's a nasty disorder that affects the central nervous system and in many cases severe physical disability. And there is no cure. Funding for research is as scarce now as it's ever been, and money raised by the ride to the Keys is going 100% to fund research and treatment for MS. Give what you can, if you can. We really appreciate it.
