Pretty good review in the LA Times online paper today. I especially loved the part about raising a beer in honor of the redesign.

I really don't think anything in the interior looks cheap at all.

"but it's hard to imagine anybody choosing the abstinence-based styling of the GTO over the weaponized cool of the Mustang."

"Weaponized cool", now that is a description I dig.

My friends I’ve shown the car off to so far don't think so either. They have a Lexus, Benz, bmw, etc. My other cars interior is still a bit better, but that's because I paid more.

This was actually from yesterdays Highway 1 section; I still have my copy on my desk here at work.

You think Saab's is better? In terms of quality or appearance?

I like Saab cars, but I think the instrument panel is extremely cluttered. IF that counts as expensive, I'll take the cheap look by far

Looks like a bunch of black plastic to me.

Yeah, to me too. I bet the interior of the TSX is awesome though.

I mean, maybe cheap compared to say a $60,000 Lexus, but compared to all previous Mustangs?? I don't think so. I strongly believe that this interior fairs well against ANY car in this price range, 2 door, 4 door or any other door.

The other comment that struck me weird is "this isn't the fastest car out there 0-60 in about 5 or so seconds" I mean...show me something else that moves like this for this price. Matter of fact, show me something else that moves like this for $35,000. There just aren't many out there.

Kind of confusing.

My theory is:

You seen it, you love it, you bought it.
Thats all that matters.
There is no critic out there that will change my mind!!!!

Since the LA Times is so vocal againt people owning weapons, I'm suprised they're not going to push for an Assault Car Ban. "Weaponized cool", what a joke.
