Check out this video of a motorized front plate holder. Perfect for states that require front plate.

Here's a website that sells one. Go towards the bottum or page.
http://www.srbymichael.com/products/access...cessories.shtml

Here's another.
http://www.watsons-streetworks.com/license_plate.html

$195.00. Not a bad price

ps. Now we need to just be able to push a bottun to release an oil slick!!!

I think that's a great idea. I always though license plates robbed valuable real estate from the nose of your car. Sometimes, they really spoil the lines. Why is it that front plates are mandatory in some states, while other states don't require them? Virginia requires 2 plates.

States that require them probably do so because it helps their ticket revenue. License plates are a nice big reflective surface to aim at if you are a glorified meter maid gunning down drivers (cop).

You can get plenty of reflection from other surfaces on the front of the car.

States require so a car can be identified more easily.

I don't think they need to be aiming at the license plate in the front, unless they are trying to have fun. The whole car is a nice reflective surface. We don't drive F117's ...LOL

I can just see a lot of law enforcement officers start to lose their minds for pulling over cars for not having front plates only to get the car pulled over and find the front plate.

If there is enough room on the mustang to do this I’d consider it.

Those kits from the links look like they just flip down. The one in the video looks like its flips down, retracts, then pulls up into the car.

Any idea where the video's kit is?

That would be hilarious. The cop after pulling someone over with one of those= :bang:

They'll probably end up banning them.
