For rent at Hertz ?
#1
Hi everybody.
Big Mustang fan from The Netherlands here. Every year I visit Florida in October and rent a Mustang from Hertz. Does anybody know if the new 2005 will be for rent this year in October ?

I was hoping for the same thing. I'll be going to Laguna Seca the last week of Sept. for a Skip Barber Racing school...I was hoping to get an '05 as well. But I'm sure it will be too early. Then again, the retal places around here in Memphis usually get new cars early. I've seen a lot of new cars for the first time on the street sitting in rental places. I'm keeping my fingers crossed.

However it is possible that Ford will let Hertz buy a small # of 2005 Mustangs and get them into their rental fleet as soon as possible to help promote the 05 and keep the buzz on the O5 Stang going.

It's a win-win deal for Ford. They get them out there for publicity AND people pay money for what is essentially a test-drive.

Before I plunk down the change for a new car, I want to get more than a 5 mile experience from the car.

I will always pay for a test drive without some salesman feeding me a bunch of BS in the passenger seat.

I'm sure there is no disrespect intended for Kevinb120. But that would be the way to go for a test drive.
