#1
This weekend's episode of MotorWeek has the following description:
"Ford Mustang
Road-tested: Ford Mustang; Acura RL; Jeep Grand Cherokee; and Mitsubishi Lancer Evolution MR"
Check your listings. I'll post here if it turns out to be the real thing.

Update: They (MotorWeek) has already posted their review on their website:
Motorweek 2005 Mustang Roadtest
Now for some of their results:
GT (manual) 0-60: 5.0 seconds
V-6 (I guess manual too) 0-60: 7.0 seconds.
Wow..the auto version of the GT is nearly as good (According to MT's test). I'm wondering now  auto or stick?

Nice!!! Another good review but can't wait to see the spot. It's on at 4pm today here in VA.
I also noticed that American Hot Rod (Boyd Coddington and his boys on DSC) will start a 65 Mustang build which also starts airing today. It's a good Mustang weekend!!!

Sorry about the repost, then. FYI, it was the '05 on MotorWeek. They showed a couple different ones running at Gingerman and on public roads.
0-60 times:
GT, 5.0
V-6, 7.0
They didn't say which trannies these times were with but I'd assume it was the stick. They did not give any 1/4-mile times.

Excellent, thanks Evil Capri
BTW: I got my TV Capture Card working ,
So I' will "try" to capture it and host it through my student web account from my college. We have a nice big fat fiber-optic pipe to the Intarweb, so hopefully bandwidth won't be an issue. I'll try to even cut the file down to just the Mustang review, if I can figure that out :bang: . Either way, I"ll update this post with the URL once I record the show.

I wouldn't hold a HUGE stake in the numbers they got. I remember when they tested the Cobra R. Their numbers weren't exactly good for that car. That means that the GT is even faster.
I have extensive video editing knowledge if you need me to compress or convert anything. (Or even edit out what you don't need.) adefouw@wi.rr.com

Neither is St. Louis
Also, even though it says it airs on PBS-U on Dish Network, it doesn't. Julia Child is on instead. Great, so I can find out how to make a souffle but I can't find out about my favorite car.
