Nice. I can't wait to see pic of people driving their S197's off the lots. This is a great time to be a Mustang fan. It would be even better if we get to see some videos of people driving them for the first time. By video I mean not only video but audio as well. From the moment they get the keys and drive it off the lot so we can hear its engine rumble as it drives off, to the sound of the engine from the driver seat. heck and the sound of the Shakers. Both 500 and 1000...

Just got back from my dealer. He gave me a copy of an e-mail he received from the regional Ford rep. 
The first thing it said was "Let the stampede begin" Ford gave the release to ship the cars on 10-1-04. They have 4000 ready to ship. :worship:
Mine has been released for shipment.... ETA soon. They hope to have it here before the SVT show they are having this weekend. That means I can have both cars at the show!!
I feel a bannana dance coming on.

Thanks 0s121! I think we will be "Getting well" SOON. This status sheet shows a TBD on my car (100748), but I checked this noon with the manager and his inhouse system says " In transit" to him.......The camera is ready!

Yes!! going by way too much lately. It is on my way to work..... so i'm up too... in the am, lunch time, on the way home and anytime I'm within 5 miles I go by. It better come soon so I can keep the miles down on the Cobra.

Same status Here. I finally got confirmation. Sales Manager told me that the computer was updated 3 times a week and probably by the next update it would say in transit. He said it said something like awaiting Freight.
Now if it will just get here by the end of the week. He also said Ford would offer no special rates and if I had my own financing lined up to go for it.

Bullitman, thanks so much for sharing that printout. It is awesome ! I wished they had a similar one that showed how they group all the cars together for shipping. It must be a logistical challenge to figure out how to send all those cars to different parts of the country. Yikes !

Congratulations!!! This post is making me impatient now!!! All this time I've managed to keep patient and hold back going insane by just blocking it out of my head some how, but now it is getting the best of me!!!!
