Redfire vs Torch
Question for everyone
I am totally set on the red interior seats with the IUP. However I am stuck on what exterior color I prefer. What exterior color matches the interior red better - torch or redfire. Also, I am thinking that either combo may be too much red but I'm not sure. I like red but it may be too much....not sure. Satin Silver also looks appealing with the red interior as well. What do you think?
Thanks

My brother-in-law had a early 80's Mustang that had the red exterior and red interior. I have been traumatized by it ever since. Too much red. Never again. I think the torch will match up better but I'd wait and see. I would go with the Satin Silver if I got the red interior, better yet....black exterior.

Red on red will be ok on the new stang if chosen right. Redfire would look great, since the interior red is many shades lighter than redfire. That with the all the black plastic on the interior would balance pretty well imho. Torch red would be too light and not be enough shades off the interior.
I think the red interior will look better with redfire, than torch red. Personally, if I was getting the red interior I would get a black, silver or white exterior. Red on red is too much for me.
I really like the redfire exterior, so I'm planning on getting the medium parchment interior.

Guys...they're calling the interior red CRIMSON...and I saw the swatch. If anything, it's as dark or possibly even darker than the concept. As far as matching, redfire is much closer.

White or silver exterior goes well with a red interior. Red on red is a little to much. For a red or redfire, I would pick a medium pearchment interior which offers a pleasant contrast.
Coming from someone who used to have red interior (in my 66, I changed it to black as soon as I could), the new red interior is NOT too much. It's just the seats and door panels. Totally tasteful. It becomes a problem when everything (dash, headliner, seats, doors, door panels, carpet, EVERYTHING) is red that it becomes a real problem.
Personally, I've always had a thing for silver with red interior.

Who's getting a white ext with red int convertible? I can't wait to see how that looks! Nothing is worse IMO than yellow and red though ....
