My Service Mang. at Dealership said I maybe getting a recall lettler from Ford about problems on airbags on all IUP Mustangs , because of IUP panel on passager side won't open on the Mustang if you get hit. I hope not

Mine goes back to dealership on January 21 for first oil change. It will be interesting to see if they have any info on that. I hope not too.

I wonder if this is a ploy to get us to come back so they can take our IUP out due to the lawsuit.

No issues or service actions at this point on airbag deployment. I will post additional info as it comes available.

Regarding the MyColor cluster-no, nobody is going to call back and remove your instrument cluster-remember the lawsuit is just a ploy from this "gentleman" in California to milk some bucks out of Ford or Delphi. Rest easy and chill!!

I ran an OASIS report on all the Mustangs I've delivered with the IUP and none show any open service announcements or recalls for this.

Just hit the airbag sensors with sledgehammers...
If they go off, you would have had nothing to worry about

They work!!!

This car had 12 miles on it.

Well, here is the story as I have been told:
The Mustang was waited to arrive by 2 middle age women, they waited for the car to arrive and when it got there they almost got into a fight about who would be the first to drive it. The salesman quickly ended the dispute and took the car into the dealership to have it inspected. After the 4 hour inspection, the lady that was there the longest had gotten to drive it. Before the test drive was underway the lady said something along the lines of "If I get financed, it’s mine!" This angered the other woman that wanted the car. Keep in mind; this is MD's first '05 GT... The test drive was on its way, as soon as the driver hit second gear a Caddy pulled out in front of her. This happens when a mustang and a caddy meet in a dark alley. As soon as the accident set in, the driver of the mustang rushed out of the car and said something along the lines of "You better hope you're dead, you just wrecked my brand new car!" She did not even own the car, and yes, the caddy driver lived.
