Has anyone noticed a wierd hue and fuzzy view in the rear view mirror during the day. It is like a bluish hue and a slight haze.

The mirror in my new Explorer is crystal clear and I wonder why the difference.

Anyone else notice this?

I've heard people say things about rear window distortion, that could be the cause of it. Do you notice it with the top down too?

Not that I have my GT yet, but I'll assume it's your standard day/night mirror. If so, it's possible you have it in the night position during the day and you're getting a secondary reflection. Try setting it to the other setting then readjusting it.

I just cleaned mine today. It was REALLY filmed-over like the windows get. I have to clean the windows every two weeks. :bang: Stupid new car.

It's worse with the top down. I wonder if they refracted the mirror to compensate for the back window. If they did that would make it seem off for the vert.

I had no problems with rear view until this weekend when I had my "special" 35% tint put on
