I know I have seen this talked about, but dont have much time to sit here and sift/search through the threads..

When you lower your car, specifiacally the rear end, what is the piece called that everyone mentions adding to align your axle?

I just added the GT500 mudflaps and thought, hmmm, the wheel/tire sticks out 3/4" more than the right...Called Les Schwab and they said they just found out that it was a problem and will pay for the part and fix it...

Anyway...soo if someone could tell me what it's called and where to get it....Thank you...

 

Adjustable panhard rod should fix the problem.

So whats everyone talk about with the relocation brackets, LCA, UCA, etc?

 

Uca and lca are good for the track or strip. .get an adjustable panhard w/urethane bushings(I think CHE offers one that requires no maintanance)

 

Lower control arms help eliminate wheel hop and transfer more power to the ground.... after lowering the vehicle the geometry of those lower control arms is thrown off so they arent doing their job... relocation brackets reset the geometry of the LCAs back to the correct angle. The adjustable upper control arm helps reset your pinion angle which is in most cases thrown off after the car is lowered more than an 1''....and the Adjustable panhard bar resets your rearend back underneath your car.

The ultralites only lower the car an inch(or maybe a slight bit lower).I do need a panhard bar,but I'm not gonna worry about LCA's and UCA's unless I'm doing some competitive driving. You will need a front end alignment w/lowering. Some people have gotten lucky and have had no need for camber bolts/plates and a panhard bar. I was not one of the lucky ones A little extra info incase you were wondering

 

Mine is already lowered and has been aligned, however after just putting the rear flaps on, I noticed the left side was offset from the right.
