Well 4 days before Christmas I got rearended and its totaly killed my spirits. I was on my way home from work and some guy had to hit me in stop and go traffic. Why am I the lucky one to get slammed. Now I have lots of back and neck pain and am still waiting for the adjuster to tell me how much damage is really done to the car. I just thank God that I know the Body shop manager at Frits Ford here in Riverside. I really hope that if they have to replace the whole trunk of the car that the rear fenders will get replaced and the car will get repainted! If they just paint the fenders and the trunk the car will look like crap! Well just pray for me that my pain will go away and that my car will be in 100% looking and running order soon. Also can someone move this to the right area because I dont know where to post this.

Thanks Don for your sympathy I really appreciate it. I am milking it at work too. The Doc says not to lift over 20 lbs.

Sorry to hear about your car and I hope you get to feeling better. I'd recommend taking Advil for the stiffness, and seeing a Dr. if haven't already. I'd guess that 99% of the muscle soreness should have been gone by now. These type of accidents can have long term implications, and you may want to contact an attorney based on your injuries.

As far as your car, since I obviously haven't seen it, I'd think the trunk lid would definately be replaced if it damaged as bad as the accident would indicate. It is really going to come down to what the body shop/ins. adjuster decide on the rear quarter panels. To get a good paint match, I would think they could fade the paint where necessary, and you won't even notice any color variation.

Good luck!

Please take care of your injuries first.

I was rear ened also in my stang in April. The cars damage was mostly done to the exhaust. I have MAC mufflers on the car and now I need to replace them because they are bent as well as the axel pipes.

True, take care of yourself first...the car could always be fixed, or replaced. Were only blessed with one back and neck..
If its serious, I would contact an attorney ASAP

Best of Luck, hope you feel better.

Sorry to hear about the wreck. But for sure glad you're still here to tell us about it. Get yourself fixed up first. Like the rest are saying, the car can be replaced or fixed as needed....

Here is mine. Picked my car up from the dealer after getting the TSB for the "popping froint end" done. And look at the little extra I got.

Sorry to hear that. Hope you're feeling better soon. I just got my car back from a deer incident. The entire front end was painted, and both doors were "blended". I can't tell where the old paint stops and the new paint begins.

I hope the service manager was laying on the floor when you left

Thanks for all your support guys!!!!! I really appreciate it. I am going to going to physical therapy 2 days a week for the next 2 weeks and I have daily stretches and exersizes to do to help strengthen my back and neck muscles. So prayerfully i will be feeling better in about 4 weeks. The adjuster is supposed to come out soon to take care of the car so we will she how much that damage really is. The car still runs great tho! Im just glad that I have a 10 dollar co pay on my insurance for now untill I get an attorney. If anyone has any recomendations for an attorney please PM and let me know so that I dont get screwed.

That is some serious bull s#!t. I cant believe that. I am really glad that I know the body shop manager personally at Frits Ford by my house. He will take care of me. He also fixed my truck when some illegal imigrant slammed into the front of it. I couldnt tell it was hit.
