Ok,
here is the second part of the challenge. Here is a picture of another car. Is this one a real Saleen or a Saleen CLone? Please vote and keep in mind that it could be the real one or fake. I will reveal the answer after each of the two polls has at least 50 votes!

Either way that is still the ugliest rear of a new mustang I've seen... blah!

It's really hard to tell in the picture but I think it has the wrong head rest. I vote clone.

 

They look like Halo Headrests to me. Hmmmmmmmmm.....

It has silver A/C vents, but ALL Saleen's come with black a/c vents.

Now, please don't respond with the "he may have changed out the vents...it's easy enough to do" statement.

We all know what COULD HAVE been changed, which is why we've all given great reasons, and could probably give many more if you showed us more pics.

On another note...do you live near Cary? I live about 45 minutes away from there.

 

clone, on the real saleen the license plate was somewhat inented into the rear ..it had a concave look to it

well then this one is real, because the other is yours

 

Not a big fan of the S7 which the Saleen Mustang's rear is based on... probably due to some left over parts they had in the corner. It adds weight (which the S197 does need), takes away from the Retro look (which is a key to the S197s success), and doesn't float my boat (which is important to me).

But there are people out there who dig it, there's not accounting for personal taste.

 

I think this poll is a fake.

 

Fake. The interior is light gray, not an option on Saleens. Look at the rear window deck.

Oops, just checked again, and I'm wrong. Scratch that answer.

 

Yeah...you can get the light gray interior, but no one commented on the fact that that car has the WRONG a/c vents for a Saleen. Saleen's should be BLACK with the chrome ring, not silver w/ chrome.
