Is this for real?

I am not sure if this is real or not. If it is its very cool to be offered this, but on the other hand it says "you and your car" I would not be interested in putting all those miles on Black Sunshine or scratches, dings, etc. I left out their phone number. Here is what I was sent:

Hey there Photolabgirl...
Nice main pic! You really take care of that baby...
Wanted to let you know: I'm casting for a new show on Spike TV that I think you'd be perfect for--basically, it's a cross-country road rally & the winning team gets a big-money prize.
We're looking for dynamic, car-obsessed people to be on the show. If you're interested & have a co-pilot in mind--or if you know someone who'd be perfect for the show--I'd love to hear back from you to go over details.

Let me know what you think...Thanks & talk soon!

We both enjoy the car . When I told him about this, he felt the same way.

If it's for real, it would be a once in a lifetime opportunity, try not to pass it up. If...

With as many reality shows as there are now though, I wouldn't doubt it.

Yes. It's real. Someone showed it to me last month to see if I wanted to enter. No thanks. Just not my style.
Not real sure if the person writing the email is real though.

The Bull-run is very high profile. Lambos and ferraris and what not abound.

Sounds legit. I imagine they are cruising the 'net trying to find some ladies to participate, they can find performance-minded guys all day long for something like this. But who wants to watch yet another testosterone-laden car program? I suspect they saw your bikini pic in your profile and said "BINGO! Just what we need! A good-looking lady with a supercharged Mustang!" I say pursue it, maybe there's some money in it and it would always be fun to tell your descendants you were on a TV show

I would totally do it, but I am not a "partier".
I'd make Brian drive and take Ralph.

I got asked as well to do this. My only problem is finding a co-pilot I trust. On top of that the thing starts in Vancouver, so I'm guessing I'd have to drive clear from Texas to Vancouver then drive where ever the rally goes then back to Texas. That's a lot of driving. I did ask the girld that called me about expenses and she said it's all enclusive, hotels, gas, and food is all paid for. I then asked about tickets and whether or not the show would pay for tickets and she was like are there gonna be tickets and I said if I want to win there sure as heck would be.

I'd do it...a little short of "partier" though...and performance mods...and 2+ weeks of vacation...

Well, this is the first I heard about it, and so I submitted my entry!

My brother is the partier, so I put him down as the co-pilot. I'd put down some of the Hooter's chicks or something that go with us to shows, but I doubt the wife would really approve of that...

We'll see what comes of it!
