Well ERL says mine is shipped via rail carrier.
So I called my salesman in hopes he would tell me such and possibly the railcar #. He was excited when he called me back and said "I don't know when the car will be here, but (here is the good part) I have your VIN for you."
He began to read it off to me, I just smiled to myself as I completed the number in my head before he could say it.

So am I right that you have to talk to an analyst to get your railcar # ? Or is there a better way?
I don't want to let my saleman on to the fact that I know more about where my car is than he does.

The rail car # will show up on the dealers daily report. Unfortunately it is usually to late. I had one finally show up on the report this morning but the truck arrived this afternoon.

I got my railcar number by calling the Analyst. Don't be shy. It's a quick phone call. What can they do? The worst that can happen is they won't give it to you - then you're in the same boat you are now.

Just be prepared for when they say "you know how to check your status through Concepts, don't you?" Just say yes and hang up

It's fun to track your railcar as long as it's moving. Mine has been sitting still since Friday morning 3am.

And I found out the hard way that it's optimized for IE, so doesn't work well with Firefox or Opera.

Don't fear the Analyst! they are people just like you and me

Thanks for all the info guys, can't tell you how much it has helped.
I called VOPC today and talked to an analyst, to get my railcar #.
She says"It was just loaded on the 20th, that was yesterday." , I just responded with, "Well I got an anxious customer."

Then tracked my railcar, it is in Kansas in a place that doesn't show on any map ?

Anyway ETA is 02-24-06 05:00, so it looks like Fri or Sat pick-up if all goes well
