I posted this in Performance and didnt get any replys. I dont know where to post this, so I will try again here. ???

Has anybody noticed your radiator overflow blowing out fluid? It makes ugly white specks on everything. Its not leaking alot, but I have seen a few specks. I know this was a problem with the 04 SuperDuty. We had to remove about a half gallon of fluid from the overflow, even though it was showing the correct level. It was blowing out alot of fluid. Wondering if that is the case with the Mustang as well.

Also, where did you get your chrome exhaust tips? I see them in the Ford accessories for $43. Is that the best place to get them?

And a new question. With your headlights on, is it normal for the hazard button light on the dash to stay on? It is bright red, whether they are on or off.

Thanks!

no overflow for me ... I have the Maganflow mufflers with their chrome tips. As for the hazards, mine dont come on ... or I have never noticed it - when my headlights on. You seem to have some odd issues - take it to the dealer.

The hazard lights arent on, just the button on the dash is bright red, as if they were on. With your lights on, hazards off, is your hazard button lit up bright red? <sorry, kinda hard to explain>

Thanks

I don't think the bright red is to indicate that the lights are on (that's why the turn signals blink), but rather to indicate the location of the button. I'll try to remember to look later, but I think mine glows too...it's normal.

1) no overflow at all and the fluid level is right where it should be

2) Get the MagnaFlow 4" dual walled tips - fit perfectly in the rear valance cut outs and look sweeeet

3) Yes the hazzard light button does glow red with the instrument panel lights on - normal

I'd take that overflow issue into the dealer just in case - good luck

Sorry about your overflow. Haven't heard about that one yet.
