Quick! What # is the electric fan fuse?

I am trying reflash my computer for the c&L cold air intake I just installed. The SCT instructions say to remove the electric fan fuse, but I cannot find it in the manual! Does anyone know what number it is?

-Thanks

in the owers manual is says fuse/relay location of the power distribution box

25 mini relay cooling fan (high speed)
28 mini relay cooling fan (low-speed)

I show it on page 165 and 166 of my 06 manual

You don't have to disconnect the fuses. I haven't ever done it and no problems yet.

I was told the SCT instructions state that for older vehicles.. the 2005+ Mustang does not require fuse pulls to reflash ECM.

I've reflashed mine several times, and I couldn't begin to tell you where that fuse is......

To answer the question, they are under the hood. Number 25 or 26, nut like it was posted it is in the manual. For the record I pulled mine the first time and never again after that.

There is a reason SCT recommends to pull fan fuse... if you flash your ECM right after driving, your engine is hot and fan might start to cool it down... which causes sudden drop in voltage and that might screw up the ECM totally. So, to be on the safe side, if the cars engine is hot, pull the fuse or let it cool for few mins before flash. Just my 2 cents.

Hmm, I've seen experienced tuners flash vehicles right after dyno pulls. I don't really see an issue.
