I don't think anyone has asked this yet: Is the back of the steering wheel smooth or is there some type of grip?

I think it is smooth - there are no 'finger ribs' or 'indentations' that I can recall from a test drive.

I think both the plastic and the leather wheel have finger indentions. I checked this out in both IUP and non-IUP cars.
