Quick photo shoot (Fire and Ice)
Quick photo shoot (Fire and Ice)
This past Saturday, I hooked up with GPStang06 (Gary) to check out his ride, get some pics and maybe some video.
Well we got together and literally had maybe 25 minutes before the sky opened up and started POURING. Luckily, Gary knew a GREAT deserted little patch of road for us to use and we got some pics and a few quick videos.... here are the pics I snapped
(I was busy taking more shots of Gary's stang since it was the first time I had seen it - now I realized that these are the first shots I am posting with my new CDC black billet grill - I'll have to get some of that as I really love the grill and emblem)
Anyway, we called it the 'Fire and Ice' shoot

I am sure Gary will get the quick vids up that we shot too - that Roushcharger of his sure has a sweeet whine!

I am in the same boat as you man - there is no way to wash here at my apt complex so I have to go 20 minutes up the road to a pressure wash place. Downside is its a production to get the car washed (even though, I do it every week) - upside is being able to use high pressure to get any **** bugs off the front end - just blast those suckers right off...
WOW! They both look really sweet! Nice pics too!
Thanks for the compliments.

CHUCK! What's up man?
We gotta have another mid florida get together in the next month or so - been too long and workin too much...
Well I have both my original stock grill and the Street Scene center fog on stockpiled in the 'parts closet'
I loved the center fog look but with the HiDs so much smaller than the stock lights, the fogs totally dominated the front of the car, even tinted. And that bugged me some.... I loved this black one when I saw it so decided to go with that. it definitely moves more air under the hood as I had to adjust the bump stops up again due to shake but I got things locked down.
Also I am positive that on normal highway driving at speed, I am running maybe a degree cooler or two coolant tempwise.
I LOVED those Falken 295/40s out back - they're still the only company making them. But they were just too soft for me. I drive pretty conservatively. I SERIOUSLY launched the car a total of three times one single day and then maybe twice otherwise. Besides those hard launches and maybe about 12K mileage, I was AT the treadware indicators on the rears already.

Really great at 250 a pop for those tires.....
I went with the BF G KDW NTs - noisier but higher tread rating, harder tires and great grip in the rain as well as dry.

Thanks for the compliments on the hood, it looks even better now that i finally have it lined up correctly. Now I just need to adjust the fascia.
My fronts (or at least one) was really messed up due to a bad camber issue and some really abnormal wear (corrected with Steeda plates but the driver side was done)
