Does anyone have any clue how long I would have to wait to receive the 05 if i were to order one. I was thinking about ordering mid to late march. Will ford still be taking orders that late? When does ford stop taking orders? When I order do I have to put down a down payment? If so how much. I am thinking about ordering a GT but the money will be tight. Thought about a V6 but for $5600 more I can have the GT. decisions, decisions, decisions!

It's running about 8 weeks from order to delivery right now. They will keep taking orders until all the allocations are filled. Down payments depends on the particular dealership, I did not have to put one down when I ordered.

 

i just ordered mine last week. $500 deposit and nothing more. delivery expectation is 8-10 weeks

 

Well, with him contemplating a March order date, the plant should be caught up with demand by then, I would guess 6-8 weeks by that time. No more than 500-1000 down for the car. Several people didn't hafta put any money down. You don't hafta worry about Ford not taking any Stang orders, only having to put up with dealer BS stories cause they would just as soon sell you one on the lot versus ordering one.
