Questions about 07 Mustang Accessories
I am exploring my options, if I purchase a Mustang GT next Spring. I really want an SE, something staged between the Stang GT and the Shelby, but so far there isn't any news.
I was reviewing the 2007 Mustang Accessories, and was interested in the Handling Pack: M-2005-FR3 - Tuned dampers, lowering springs, anti-roll bars, strut tower brace.Stiffens up the front end and lowers car 1.5 inches.
Does anybody have this? How do you like it? Is the ride too stiff? Does it handle a lot better?
I am also interested in the Power Pack - Adds 20h.p., 90mm cold air kit, muffler kit etc.
Does anybody have this? Can you notice the extra 20h.p. and do you like the sound?

I've heard that the ride w/ the handling pack isn't too bad... and with what you get, it should handle signifigantly better...
Haven't heard good things about the power pack... CAI and tune doesn't do much and mufflers just make it sound better. I think they mean 20 gross hp, as opposed to wheel hp which is all the rage lately (rightfully so).
My recommendatio" GT 5-speed base package, no addition options, then get a CAI, 93-octane tune, JBA headers, off-road exhaust, and get some new cams. Also, some big drag radials andnew LCAs, strut tower brace, shocks, etc. The take out the A/C, radio, strip the insulation a back seat.
A you'll have a Mustang fit for me... er, I mean YOU. Yes- you. Not me. Why would I want something like that.

I have seen a gt at adealership where im going to place my order for the 07 tomorrow. It has the handling pack. it' about $1200 canadian dollars and i have driven it, and the difference is worth noticing! At an exit ramp the car just hugs the road and there's no feeling off rollover. It's truly appealing. Moreover if you were to buy each one of those items seperately it's going to be a bit pricey. all in all it's wrth $1200. Im going to be getting min after a month or so when the car arrives in August sometime.
