this is a pretty amasing read .. the E on my fuel gauge stands for " Empty ".. not for " Enuff " to get to the next store

 

Between the two that I have had and the dozens that I have brought to the gas station when selling(they are always about bone dry when new), 0 to empty means about 1.5 gallons left.

 

HERE'S THE REAL ANSWER...
JUST BEFORE THE PRICE GOES UP AGAIN !!!!!

 

i fill up @ no less than 1/4 tank unless im absolutely in an emergency....usually i like to fill up every week but sometimes i dont drive it down to 1/4 in a week soooo if sunday rolls around and im @ half a tank ill fill up...on sundays BP sells premium for $.10 cheaper also they do it on wednesday and friday soooo i fill her up. i have the 93 torque tune in right now anyway...i still dont know what the gas light looks like

I ran mine dryer than dry tonight. I was wanting to drain all the 87 octane out so I could fill up with 92 for my race tune. I pulled into Safeway (.10 cents off per gallon btw) with 1 mile to go. Computer said I used 13.9 gallons. I topped it off and the pump said 14.9 gallons. 16 gallon tank unless I believe, so I am guessing when/if I have about 1 mile till E, I really have 1 gallon left. Although I dont plan on taking it that low again.

 

He's scheduling his gas stops to save about $1.10
