I was just wondering when everyone ordered their V-6's and how long it took to get a VIN and how long they have taken to be built. I ordered mine on 10/16 but it was on temp hold for the IUP but i got the IUP lite instead and the order went through today so if anyone can let me know, that would be great!

I'm not sure Brad.... I hope you got a substantial discount for accepting the IU-lite pkg.? I ordered a GT, and I haven't even driven a '05 Mustang yet, but they have a V-6 locally that they just got in, so I may ask for a test run tomorrow just for car feel......actually they got 3 V-6's (white, yellow, redfire).

The only reason I ordered it w/out the IUP was cause i was sick of the rumors of when or if the car would be made with it and i can always go aftermarket with some interior things ya know? The MyColor option wasnt a big deal, i kinda wanted the computer message thing but the color changing thing isnt too big for me, I would eventually keep it one color anyways.

I ordered my V6 on Oct. 29. Ford won't get the manual trans for them until Nov.29 so on that day or the 1st of Dec. they will begin building them & my dealer said 6-8 weeks from that date. Those that ordered in Sept, we may get our cars the same time then but your fortunate that you'll have the full I.U.P.

what do you mean a substantial discount for the IUP lite? The price is $195.
