I am having no luck out here, can't even get the "out the door" price under $29,500.

Thanks!

I ordered at MSRP back in December and was glad to get that deal. California isn't the best place to buy a HOT car!

Well, if anyone knows a dealer/sales manager that can get me X-pricing, I would be willing to donate the use of my 69 BOSS 302 (below) for display in the showroom -- it'd make the 05 look good!!!

$30K out the door is just insane, as far as I am concerned!!!

I got mine at Santa Margarita Ford. XPlan, paid $89 under invoice. There are better deals out there, but I am not disappointed with the one I got.

Call Dan Beam from Midway Ford in Los Angeles, tell him Danny Gat sent you and he will definatly give you a deal, MSRP or less. I just picked my
Stang up from him yesterday after a long wait (ordered in Nov) for x-plan. But anyways if you are in So Cal call Dan Beam at Midway Ford 213-388-8834 and don't forget to mention that Danny Gat refered you.
Thank you

Danny

69Boss, That is a beautiful car! I am so jealous, I've wanted that exact car since I was a kid. I guess you could say Im settling on the 05 GT because I cant find a '69 Boss in that great of shape....Hmmm you want to sell it? I can give you my order from Dan Beam at Midway Ford the car should be arriving any day now!

Mossy Ford in San Diego has great allocation and they are currently at MSRP for GT and below MSRP for V6.

Ditto.
D Drove by this afternoon and saw a stable of V-6s, couple of Saleens and one GT
Several of us have purchased from Teri at Mossy. She's great to deal with and no BS.
She also drives one of the meanest Bullitts in SoCal. Mustang gal all the way. Call her and mention this site. She is posted in the dealer section of this site

Thanks everyone for the leads...I have some work to do.

And Dr. Jones, sorry, the BOSS isn't for sale. I've had it since 1991, it was a former drag racer that has been put back right (except for being lowered 1.5" and fitted with 16" wheels, Konis, sway bars, and side exit exhaust...(5-speed is next!).

You got the new Mustang because of your love for the 69 BOSS, and I am getting one because I want to drive my 69 BOSS everyday but it's not practical, with $3000 shakers, $700 rev limiter and carb, and lucky to get 10 MPG, thieves would swarm on it like the bees are attracted to the yellow color.

I'll keep you guys posted on my search.

Had a GT on order from North County Ford in Vista(AAA discout at 1500 over invoice). They also sell off the lot with no mark up. But I sold my cavilier and my order hadnt been pulled so I bought from Ford of Dublin. They had theres marked up but I went through the internet dept and got it at MSRP. As others have said Mossy is great to deal with also.

Got mine at Ken Grody Ford in Buena Park. They are asking 3k mark up but I got mine for MSRP. If your interested PM me and I'll give you the name and # of the lady who sold me the car. She really had to work hard to get me the car for sticker and not once tried to BS me.

Talked to Dan Beam at Midway Ford as well as Terri at Mossy Ford.

They're both players, and working to get me the best deal on exactly what I want. I'll be buying from one of them -- it's now up to (1) the best price; compared against (2) how long it will take to get.

Thanks again for the leads, guys...

Santa Monica Ford sold me mine for $500 over invoice (ended up paying $250 under after a rebate). I orderded it via the Fleet Manager and didn't have a problem getting that price.

But, I did notice them selling '05s off the the showroom floor for $3K over MSRP.

The Service department at Mossy has been AWESOME as well... They have taken care of all my little quirks in this new stang..No questions asked..John Fontanini is the guy to go to about all of them..He has learned them all though me..And this site From the missing bolts to the poping noise in the front end.. He has done everything I've asked them to do without a blink!!!
I'd rather pay a tad more and get Great service then get a great price and a car they dont care about after it leaves the sales department..
The sales department even went as far as to take some Pic's of my car just after it came off the hauler..thats just way to cool
