question about center console

I noticed this weekend that I have a problem with my console, the cup holder bottom in particular. The bottom has cracked where the side wall of the cupholder and the base of the holder meet and has begun to fall out.
My question is, what do you think the chances are that i can have the console replaced without a bunch of crap from the dealer?
I mean its not like I put a 100 pound drink in the holder, you would think it should stand up to a 16oz coke.

Tony

OK this may be a really dumb question/resolution, but is it the front or back cup holder?
If it is the back one do you have the piece removed that makes it deeper ? or is that what you think is breaking away.
Sorry if that sounds dumb.

Sounds like somebody doesn't know about the removable "Depth Extender"

OK I think we have it nailed down now.
Look at your cupholders, if they are the same depth, then you do not have a problem.
The rear cupholder has a "false" bottom and can be removed to make it deeper than the front one.
Look at the area between the cupholders (back of the front hole and front of the back hole) and there should be a small ridge. Grab that ridge and lift up.
Problem solved.
