I called VOPC Friday about my order and the robot lady said the order had been serialized, I called VOPC again today and she said the order has been scheduled to be built on 04/18/05. I placed my order on 03/18/05, see sig below, does this seem very fast, or am I getting a little to excited?

 

Well unless you are giving the ERL the wrong order code, I'd say you are just a lucky guy that found a dealer with perfect allocation to get your car built. I'm certainly no expert about all this, but the dates on your order are probably pretty close to the way an order under normal circumstances is supposed to work. Unfortunately some dealerships have way more orders than their allocation can support, so some people end up waiting in a line that they have no idea how long it is.

In any event, hope your car gets built based on the ERL's dates so far.

 

Shouldn't I have gotten a " Locked in for production" message or a VIN # before a build date?
