Quartermile estimate

Taking my 05 Mustang Saleen (22000 miles original motor) to a Maryland track this weekend. What do you guess it will run
(1st) on stock 20 inch tires
(2nd) on 18 inch drag radials.

Im guessing it will do a 13.6 @ 105mph...on the stockers and a 13 flat @ 108 with the DR...

Would help to know how much power your Saleen puts down, or at least how much boost you're running. And why bother guessing about the stock 20 inch tires that are just gonna spin anyway? On drag radials, it's a little easier to predict.

Ref: quarter

Supercharger is running 12.5 lbs of boost. The reason for the 20 inch prediction is because I will borrowing a friends drag radials, but its not a lock yet. I raced my 68 Camaro (Muncie 4 speed) pretty successfully, so I would say my driving is above average.

Have not had car dynoed, so am unsure of true HP #

Based on the very limited info we have, I'll predict trap speeds of 118 mph for the 1/4 mile. ET's will be all over the place, especially with the 20's on the car. Maybe high 12's with the 20's or low 12's with the drag radials.

If you get the hang of the drag radials on your car and nail the launch/shifts, your car is likely capable of mid to high 11's.

REF:

High 11's would be my goal. As far as limited info, I have told you everything if you include the mods listed on signature.

a few weeks ago i ran a 13.8 @ 103mph on the stock pirelli tires and the only engine mods im running are the CAI and a 93oct tune. you should DEF be in the low to mid 12's with that s/c running at 12.5lbs of boost.

well, i just came across this post and realize I left it unanswered. The car ran a 12.67. There is more there but the launches have proved difficult with some wheel spin
