I need counseling, and Ford should provide it for free. My life was so, let's say, easier before the new body style - happily married with child and going to work everyday in my truck. Then I see the new body style - take a test drive - get hooked - order a GT in December - can't sleep - still waiting for the GT - can't sleep ... then the GT comes in at the end of December! I can sleep better and can hardly wait to look at and drive my GT! Life is GOOD. Then  Ford has this thing called a Shelby that comes along - and here we go again - can't sleep - waiting for the Shelby - can't sleep - still waiting for the Shelby -- can't sleep .... well, at least I get to drive my GT until the Shelby arrives My wife says I need counseling b/c prior to the new body style coming out I was happy with my truck. Now I am utterly obsessed with the new Mustangs and have the constant urge for MORE POWER! Life is Good Thanks Ford. Now about that counseling ...

ok I'll admit I had the same problem. I've been able to sleep fine even though they announced the Shelby because I can't even come close to affording it. My GT will just have to do.

The new Shelby is nice, but without fog lights... me likey the GT even more. Which makes me wonder about the '08 Bullitt (possible) remake. If I could get a DHG GT w/ fogs versus a DHG Bullitt without fogs, I'm thinking I would have to go with the first one.

I feel for ya man. Sorry about the cancelled order, that sucks. I want to stop smoking sooo bad! When I was on the patch, it worked great, if I combined it with a cig now and then Not a good thing to do. Then I started having a reaction to the patch and started smoking again.

I wore the patch for one day, but it kept falling off, so I quit cold turkey. I have smoked a few now and then, but have not picked the habit up since then, and that was over a year ago!

I don't have to worry about him thinking I am obsessed, since we both are.

Let me know when the support group meets.

If Ford had a more quirky marketing dept (say like Jack in the Box's), they could turn our situations into an interesting ad campaign for the new Mustang. Not that it really needs anymore advertising at the moment.

Advertising? I havn't seen a commercial in months. Although I am finally seeing more Mustangs on the road. I was shocked yesterday, I saw 3 Torch Reds (1GT and 2 V6's) just on the way home.

I've been having nightmares about someone else driving my t-sten gt down the wrong side of the road, and parking it the wrong way on the street. I don't even have it yet. It's not fun waking up in a cold sweat thinking your mustang is in someone elses hands.
