Can anyone make any sense of the letters on the paper hanging down? The one on the bumper of the first shot looks like it has a number. VIN??
Maybe we can have the FBI do a super photo enhance!

Not sure w/o the grill on, but this looks like the GT. Does anyone know if the insert on the lower front facia is the just a protective cover for the assembly line or if that is the final design.
I've seen pics of the 05 w/that same insert, some w/that insert but w/honeycome like the grill and some w/o anything (just an open design painted the body color). I think I like having that insert in there. The pictures I have w/o the insert are of the show cars mostly, the pre-production models all seem to have it

Brad, the letters in the top rt corner, GM, mean V8(GT) manual, and just to the left, in smaller type, is where it would say conv1pp, which it looks like it does.

Thanx!!!! Regular fastback! Old pic, though, handwritten commit number, and the stng1pp, thats for the preproduction cars. The VIN is just an inhouse number used for the computers. They all start with a VIN, even the pp cars.

It's kinda nice having some one on the inside letting us know what is going on. Thanks John!

Birthin those babies!!! Wow!! Cool...we're inside the delivery room!!!
...Anyone know the reason for the "shark teeth"??...I'd think it would be just as protective if not more for a full strip of that covering rather than the elaborate zigzaggy deal.
