Product Questions??

Howdy

I just ordered my 07 Windveil Blue/ 5 speed, 3.55, side airbags, Gt Pkg., and IUP on 6-14. Since I work in a Steel Mill that supplies almost all Car manufactures I did get the x-plan. Also we work 7/24/365. My questions are: Do they work 1, 2, or 3 shifts? How many cars do they produre in a day?
I'll call the magic phone number (ELR) and only get a clear and no Seq. number, so after the 2 week shut down I'll try again later in July.

Thanks dly

Congrats on the order. They are currently running 2 8 hour shifts, and at times (like the end of the '06 run) will run up to 2 10 hours shifts. I think that the rate is something like one every 63 seconds, so you can do the math...somewhere in the neighborhood of 900 per day...Last I heard they don't work on Sundays and that they work 2 Saturdays a month..

Wow

I figured 27,900 more Mustangs to go until mine is built. 2 week shut down, 5 day week than a 6 day week and hoping I get delivery about 10 weeks after my order. Hehe probaly more like 20,000 with break downs and travel time. Hoping for a 3rd week in August delivery (ordered 6-14).
Hell even an old Fart like me can get excited about it.

Did you get a VIN yet? If you get a VIN and see others posting on these forums with VINs in your neighborhood (remember that VINs are not sequential), it could also help you in getting an estimate...The only exception to the rules that I have seen are automatics. Get a dealer with high allocation, and order a coupe automatic, and she's built in 3-4 weeks..

Thanks for the help but I just talked to my Dealer and the said no VIN yet and that's the same message I get on the phone (Cleared not schedule). Saleman's is a friend and say (wink wink) I have an inside source who will be pushing your order though after the shut down. I wonder if he could sell me some stock in the Brooklyn bridge too.

oh well dly
