I have a vehicle order vonfirmation from my order (ordered last tuesday). And this sheet that I got from the dealer has it listed:

Priority: 40

That doesnt sound so hot to me. What is that, a scale of 100? 50?

I ordered a GT Vert from a large dealership March 9. He set it to priority 40. It just got serialized for a May 30 production week.

Priority 40 is not good at all. The lower the priority the better. The lowest priority a dealer can assign, to my knowledge, is a 10 (although I have read posts from members claiming to have gotten lower). My priority was a 12 and I got my car in just about a month. There are guys/gals on this forum with higher priorities that ordered way before me and still don't have their car. See if you can't sweet talk your salesman into lowering that priority. Once he knows that you know what it means, he might just do it. Good luck

i was a priority 20 and got the car in 2.5 months. however a priority 40 doesnt necessarily mean a bad thing. the priority number depends on dealer size, his allocation, past mustang sales, and other stuff as well.

It all depends on your dealers allocation. I was a 40 the whole time. Took 4-1/2 months. 10 is the best at Dealer levels. Below 10 is for Ford (special cases)....like got blown up in shipping and they need to make another one fast.

Like Bob said, it all depends on your dealers allocation. If it is a small dealership, I would look for a larger one and see if ya get lucky

Good luck Daniel
