Forddirect has the same prices. It could be two things
1)price increase is false
2)Update is going to be a bit late

New order guide was justed posted, I sent it to Brad. It is dated 12/01/04. Some of the new price lists have been posted(explorer, ranger and a few others), but not the Mustang. I built one in CONCEPS this morning and it was still at price level 515. I'll send the new price list to Brad as soon as it is available.

I would guess its delayed a couple weeks so the people who wanted v6 manuals won't get stuck with a price increase when they order.

Maybe this price increase will take a chunk of "drive off the lot" depreciation for those who already have theirs?

Probably not up yet. I just e-mailed it to Brad tonight. It does show the IUP as "available on all V6 and GT arrays"

If that is the case, that is mighty kind of Ford to consider that when making a business decision.

Why would a car go up in price after time?

Hey I noticed on the new guide the stripe is no longer offered? I see the mention of the rocker stripe on the V6 and it says avail only part of the V6 sport appearance pkg but I don't see anymore the color combos for the stripes down the center?

That isn't a factory option. The center stripes are dealer installed so where never in the order guide.

Same reason price on everything else goes up over time: inflation.
