Does anyone know if there is a price increase on the 07's yet and if so what ballpark it will be in? I for the most part am waiting to see some clear shots of the Valencia Orange and if there is an increase in HP over the 06's. Otherwise I would just order a SS 06. I will be finalizing a big move later in the month and will have some cashola to finally put down on my long, long long awaited Mustang. Any info is appreciated.

Yeah, it's bad enough that while there's snow on the ground my dealership has MSRP labeled at 30k for a V6 vert and 25k for a V6 coupe... They won't even list a price for the GT...

That's incredible, I paid $24,997 for my premium GT with everything in it except the shaker 1000 and side air bags

But the price increase won't matter because 6 months from now there will be rebates and other incentives on Mustangs.

the price increase should only be a few dollars, but I am guessing that there will be a little bit more wiggle room in negotiating considering that demand will be flat and maybe tapering off in '07.

My educated guess will be somewhere around 1.5% initially. I do not think you will see any rebates on GT's, period but there may be some type of program on V-6 later on this year.
GT allocation seems to be improving. In out region historically it has been 30-33% but the last month it has been 68%.
I will post specs as soon as I get them.

Comparatively speaking, the Mustang in '05 was the 'big bang for the buck'. I wouldn't be a bit surprised to see it go up at least $500 if not more. They'll still get it....IMO

I don't think we'll likely see any rebates on the GTs until it has some competition from GM and Chrysler. This should help the resale value remain good.

If you listen to the guys on the GT500 forum, in a year or so, you'll be able to buy a Shelby at invoice which is just a little more than what you'd pay for a premium GT......yeah, right!

Nah most of them are saying sticker after the first year for the GT500. Which seems fair considering the upgrade over a stock GT.

When the Camaro comes out, Mustangs will be discounted for a few months. The better Camaro sales, the more specials and rebates I think we'll see on the Mustangs.

not sure how much higher the base and options will go but here is an interesting comparison for "MSRP" from my 05 deluxe and 06 premium.

considering most dealers will see about 3 per year, I doubt it. People are already offering 20k over sticker

How did you get that kind of price? I work for a Ford partner, so I got X-plan pricing ($100 over MSRP) and I'm paying $27,075! The invoice is like $26,320. It's a Tungsten GT premium coupe with the IUP and active anti-theft as the only options.
